Transformational Story & Invitation

Leaving my teaching career plunged me into a confusing liminal space, where I felt caught between my desires and God’s silence. This in-between state was filled with longing for clear direction, yet I found no clear answers.

Eventually, I surrendered my tightly held plans, praying, “Let your will be done.” This shift in perspective allowed me to see that true abundance comes from aligning with God’s kingdom, not from pursuing fleeting comforts. As C.S. Lewis suggested, I had been “far too easily pleased.”

In this vulnerable space, I sensed the Holy Spirit guiding me away from selfish desires, teaching me to trust and wait. Here, in this sacred in-between, I discovered the joy of God’s presence, transforming my understanding and leading me toward a future filled with purpose.

I was deeply moved by how God protected and loved the Israelites, guiding them toward the Promised Land, even when they struggled to trust Him. Then, something shifted within me—I saw myself in their story. For over a year, I had been making excuses to God about avoiding specific dietary changes, waiting for the ‘perfect time’ to start. But through this challenge, I finally decided to step into my transition. I no longer saw these changes as restrictions but as God’s protection and the key to my next mission. I now see the importance of honoring each of these spaces and giving them the time and attention they need. This experience has renewed my hope and excitement for the future, and I feel more prepared to process these changes in a healthy, intentional way.

Looking back, I can now see that every step along my path was purposeful. What once felt stagnant now feels strategic, as if everything has been building up to this moment. I used to think I was standing still, but I now realize that I was actively moving forward, preparing for these new transitions. This journey has brought such clarity, allowing me to understand my life in a new way and to recognize the liminal spaces I’m truly navigating.
