“The life I touch for good or ill will touch another life, and in turn another, until who knows where the trembling stops or in what far place my touch will be felt.”
― Frederick Buechner

LiveLiving International Foundation was founded by Etta Hornsteiner in 2008 and incorporated in 2009. The idea for this virtual educational space began as a blog site, which later morphed into a digital health and wellness magazine. The publication was designed as a supplementary resource to help Christians understand the importance of their health and fitness in the context of their faith and thereby help them develop healthy lifestyles. The magazine reached over 150k readers.

As our world began to constantly change, the organization saw a need to go beyond fitness and nutrition. Etta Hornsteiner, its founder, returned to school. She pursued a master’s degree in health and wellness coaching from Maryland University of Integrative Health, a health and well-being coaching certification from Duke University of Integrative Health, and a board certification from the National Board of Health and Wellness Coaching and an international certification from International Coaching Federation.

Integrative Health and Wellbeing coaching is a powerful tool; therefore, it is our desire to offer this tool via our online courses to as many people as possible who desire to make healthy lifestyle changes. Our LIVE group coaching approach allows us to reduce the cost of coaching. However, there are many individuals behind the scene who help this organization to be possible. We are in need of talent acquisition, and thus funds to compensate these individuals for their work.

If you desire to sow a seed of health, this ground of LiveLiving is a rich soil in which to plant. Our logo depicts a tree planted in streams of water as in Jeremiah 17:7-8 and Psalm 1:3. May you be like this tree “planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.” May you be like that tree—flourishing, bearing fruits of abundance.
