Kara Tippetts and Jill Lynn Buteyn discover what it is like to walk the road of suffering together in their Christian Living.

Suffering is a part of life. A part of the transformational life of a Christian involves suffering. Hence, suffering for the believer has meaning. The cross is where we meet our true selves in God and where we die to our false selves. It is where we forgive, where we surrender and where we learn totally to love.

As Kara Tippetts battles cancer, she touches the lives of thousands of people as she trust in the goodness and love of God unto death. Jill Lynn Buteyn, a friend and co-author of the book Just Show Up: The Dance of Walking Through Suffering Together, and other members of their community become Kara’s “Aaron and Hur”. As they walk this road of suffering together with Kara, they receive the gift of suffering–an incredible friendship and love that could have only be given by God.  Listen to the interview.
