1. Value yourself. Esteem for yourself must be God-centric otherwise your sense of worth will come and go, rise and fall like the tide with each experience.
2. Let others see that you value yourself. “No one can make you feel inferior without your consent,” Eleanor Roosevelt
3. Hang out with people who celebrate you not tolerate you.
4. Affirm the good and beauty in yourself as well as in others.
5. Love yourself, especially your body, as is – just as Jesus Christ loves you entirely and unconditionally.
6. Be patient with yourself as you grow. A butterfly goes through a process of metamorphosis before it becomes a butterfly.
7. Declare it from the mountain top that you are fearfully and wonderfully made.
8. Exercise. It releases endorphins in your body that make your body and mind feel good.
9. Treat your body like the sanctuary it is. Tone your muscles; exercise your heart; eat healthily; beautify your body.
10. Take time to notice God’s splendor and glory in nature. Just as nature reflects His purpose and design, so do you.
